Check out this new Valentine freebie to work on handwriting, letter recognition, and executive functioning!
How to use this Worksheet
Have your child search for each letter on signs, labels, and packages around the house. Once they find a letter, have them copy the word in the space provided. You can do just one page to focus on specific letters, or do all four!
Make it Harder
- Search for words that are red, pink, or purple for Valentine’s Day
- Make up a sentence using each word and write it in the space
- Try to find words that are all in the same category, like foods or actions
Make it Easier
- Help your child search for the letters in a favorite book
- Write the letter for them while describing the strokes
- Let kids who aren’t writing yet pretend, this is an important skill to develop reading and writing skills!
