At Inspiring Talkers, our therapists are the dedicated professionals who bring our mission to life—providing expert pediatric therapy that helps children communicate, move, and thrive. Rooted in the same belief that shaped our beginnings, our team is united by a passion for empowering children through personalized, high-quality care. Each therapist brings specialized training in speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy, along with a deep commitment to understanding every child’s unique strengths and challenges. By combining evidence-based practices with a compassionate, family-centered approach, our therapists create an encouraging environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their fullest potential.

Brandi-Lynn Grieg, M.S., CCC-SLP, Owner

Brandi-Lynn graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She furthered her education  completing the Communication Disorders Program in Severe Disabilities through Western Carolina University. She has over 20 years experience in the specialized area of Speech-Generating Device (SGD) service provision to adults and children with complex communication needs with a wide range of cognitive abilities, utilizing both high and low tech equipment. Her experiences also include presenting at professional conferences locally & nationally, collaborating and consulting with professionals, family members and other team members regarding assessment, training and therapeutic interventions. 

Brandi-Lynn moved to Colorado and opened Inspiring Talkers in 2007, providing home based therapy services to children in Northern Colorado. Her passions are for providing client centered care and supporting the whole family.  It was through that passion that Inspiring Talkers grew to offer speech, occupational, and physical therapy to children throughout Northern Colorado.   

Brandi-Lynn is active in her community, loves to spend time with her boys, all things outdoors, and traveling!

Madeline Dippold, M.S., CCC-SLP

Maddie attended James Madison University, graduating with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. She has a B.A. in Linguistics and a background of working at a summer camp for children with medical needs. Maddie has a passion for early language learners, neurodiversity-affirming therapy, and play-based therapy. She loves co-treating and collaborating with PTs and OTs! Maddie likes spending her free time being in the mountains, crafting, playing board games, loving her dog, Otis, and enjoying theater and live music!

Lindsay Valentine, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lindsay graduated with her M.S. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University in 2017. During her graduate school experience, Lindsay completed an internship working under an AAC specialist in a hospital setting where she developed a passion for working with kids with complex communication needs. In this setting, Lindsay gained hands-on experience utilizing AAC devices with a variety of populations. During her free time, Lindsay enjoys running, reading, playing tennis, skiing, and hiking.

Tristin Moreland, M.S., CCC-SLP

Tristin received her B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from CU Boulder in 2017. During undergrad, she worked at a local day program for kids and adults with disabilities and developed a passion for working with kids with complex communication needs. This passion grew through her time in graduate school where she worked with clients who use AAC. These experiences lead her to intern with Inspiring Talkers for her final placement. Tristin graduated with her M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, spending time with her dog, and crafting.

Hunter Steffenhagen M.A., CCC-SLP

Firestone

Hunter Steffenhagen attended the University of Buffalo, graduating with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2021. With experience in Early Intervention and as a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP), Hunter has developed a passion for treating a wide range of communication disorders, with a particular interest in speech sound production disorders. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys caring for her many pets, collecting house plants, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

Heidi, SLPA

I earned my 2nd bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and have been working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant since January 2023. After more than 10 years in hospitality and event planning, I changed careers to pursue my passion for helping others and working with cute kids!

I have experience in school-based settings serving many diverse populations and needs. My passion is in supporting children with speech sound disorders and literacy. In my free time, you can find me quilting, reading, enjoying time with my family!

Jen Clark, M.S., CCC-SLP

Jen has been with Inspiring Talkers since 2010. She holds a certificate in assistive technology from CU Denver. Jen spent five years as an intensive needs teacher prior to becoming an SLP. During this time, she recognized the need for quality speech language intervention for children with limited communication. Jen’s specialty is AAC, specifically working with children with complex learning, language, and behavior needs. She also teaches the graduate AAC class at the University of Northern Colorado. Jen enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and quilting.

Hannah Rosenbach, M.S., CCC-SLP

Windsor

Hannah began working at Inspiring Talkers in early 2022. She has 4+ years of experience working with AAC and complex communication disorders. While completing her graduate studies, Hannah worked as a support staff and enjoyed creating dynamic, language-filled activities for a variety of individuals. Prior to this, She worked in an AAC specialized facility school and enjoyed incorporating accessible communication into daily routines. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, creating art, listening to live music, and being outdoors.

Nicole Haye, SLPA

I attended Metropolitan State University of Denver where I got my bachelors in speech language and hearing science and minor in special education in 2018. Since then, I have been working as an SLPA with children and adults with a wide range of disabilities in schools and clinics. Here, I have expanded my experience in assisting with AAC devices and ASL, and really enjoy it! In my free time I like to workout, spend time with my dog and husband, and enjoy my time outdoors.

Dani Geyer, MOT, OTR/L, BCP

Dani graduated with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2013. She earned her Board Certification in Pediatrics through the American Occupational Therapy Association in 2019. Dani has completed additional trainings and coursework in several areas including ASD, ADHD, emotional regulation, trauma, movement disorders, and social participation. Dani loves outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughters.

Brittanie Lauer, OTD

Brittanie is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, who grew up in Northern Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2018. She has had experience working in pediatrics, schools, in-patient rehab, and outpatient therapy. She has completed continuing education hours in vision and visual motor skills and has training in the Get Permission approach to feeding therapy. In her free time, Brittanie enjoys hiking, kayaking, painting, and spending time with her family.

Aneta Piotrowski, COTA

Aneta graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2012 and has been working in a pediatric outpatient setting since that time. She has a passion for working with children and helping them live to their fullest potential. Aneta has worked with children living with sensory, developmental, neurodevelopmental, feeding/eating, behavioral, and mental health challenges. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fly fishing, hiking, the outdoors, and reading.

Lorene Nardell, MOT, OTR/L

Lorene Nardell received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University in 2007. Lorene has experience working as an OT with both adults and children in many different settings including subacute rehab, outpatient, home health, and in the schools. Before becoming an OT, Lorene worked as a homeless and runaway teen counselor and as an English teacher. Lorene also has had her own business as a photographer. Lorene enjoys and values time with her family hiking, camping, traveling, being outdoors and just having fun. She also has a number of animals in her life: a dog, rabbit and chickens.

Rachael Cisto, MOT, OTR/L

Firestone

Rachael graduated with a Master of Science degree from the University of Scranton in 2017. Since earning her degree, she has specialized in pediatrics, with her professional interests including self-regulation, sensory processing, motor planning, splinting for upper extremities, fine motor skill development, and handwriting difficulties. Rachael has prior experience in other practice settings, including working in Early Intervention and in Hospital-Based Outpatient. Each day, Rachael finds particular joy in celebrating clients’ smallest victories, as they are stepping stones to bigger ones! Outside of work, Rachael enjoys playing volleyball, going to concerts, hiking, cozy coffee places, petting all the dogs, and making breakfast for dinner.

Mike Bauer, MOT, OTR/L

Mike began his OT journey as a child attending therapies with his brother and watching the joy and accomplishment that OT can bring to the lives of families and children. There he found a passion for assisting children and families overcome obstacles and increase independence in daily life across all environments. He took a winding path to OT from building homes, through being a CNA, to assisting clients during dialysis, before receiving his degree in Occupational Therapy from CSU. Mike has a background in acute care occupational therapy and medically fragile individuals; assisting families and clients to achieve self-care goals and meet life’s challenges.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and dogs, being outside, and making things in my workshop.

Jann Yankee, MOT, OTR/L

Jann is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of pediatric experience evaluating and treating children with a wide variety of needs. Jann has extensive experience working with all children and especially loves working with babies that have difficulty with bottle and breastfeeding including those born prematurely or may have lip or tongue ties. Jann has worked in many of the NICU’s locally and has a passion for helping our youngest clients.

Jann is originally from North Carolina and graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. During her free time, Jann enjoys spending time with her family, participating in all types of outdoor activities, going to see live local music, and meeting new people.

Lydia Ockert, PT, DPT

Chief Operating Officer

Lydia received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia in 2013. In July 2021 she completed her exam to become a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Since graduating, she has worked in pediatrics from birth to 21 in both the early intervention environment and in an outpatient setting. She enjoys working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping and biking and spending time with her family.

Lauren Parente, PT, DPT

Firestone

Lauren graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2023 receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  Growing up in the sport of gymnastics influenced Lauren to pursue becoming a physical therapist, and coaching the sport led her to find a passion for working with children.  During her time at the University of Rhode Island, Lauren gained experience working in pediatric and adult acute care, outpatient, and early intervention as well as spent time working as a pediatric home based therapeutic services provider. She recently moved to Colorado from Connecticut.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.

Victoria Cole, PT, DPT

Firestone, Windsor

Victoria is from a small town in Indiana. Growing up, she knew she wanted to be a physical therapist after going through PT herself. She graduated with her DPT from the University of South Carolina in 2025. In PT school, her favorite classes were pediatrics and neuro, and after shadowing at a few pediatric clinics, she knew she wanted to work with kids. She moved out to Colorado to complete a pediatric clinical rotation where she was able to get hands-on experience helping kids with a variety of diagnosis and learning about different types of interventions. Victoria moved out to Colorado with her cat, Jupiter, and in her free time she enjoys running, hiking, and hanging out at coffee shops.

Arien McCrea

Arien is originally from California and has lived throughout the west coast landing in Colorado in 2017. Colorado feels like home, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, meditation and helping people. Arien has done many things throughout her life, which have lead her to Human Resources and Payroll.

A few years of her teaching career were devoted to working with kids with special needs, so she has a special place in her heart for those kiddos! In her free time Linella is a student of art at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She crafts, draws, paints and spends time with her amazing son, boyfriend and family.

I was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico, and I’m a proud Latina mom of three and grandma to two amazing little girls. I’ve always loved connecting with people and helping others, and I’ve been in the customer service world since 1994. I’m also happy to help you in Spanish if that’s your preferred language.
